Lush Sample | Oatifix Fresh Face Mask

As you know I've been having a bit of trouble with my face due to my insecurities (man up - I know), if you've read my previous post you'll know I've received four lovely samples from Lush Hull, and if you haven't CATCH UP - link. So yesterday evening I was dying to try the Oatifix Fresh Face Mask, it smells lovely and the write up looks ace - I haven't said the word ace in years. Lush say "Bananas are a very rich oily fruit - so are perfect for a mask that is trying to get goodness into dry skin. Also in here is illipe butter to moisturise the skin and leave it supple. Oatmeal, ground almonds and kaolin bind the ingredients and act as a very gentle scrub to lift dead skin away and leave the face looking brighter. A soft fragrance based on vanille absolute finishes off this nourishing mask." And what they say is damn right.

Applying the mask I used two fingers to rub around my face like I would a normal mask; then relax for 5 - 10 minutes or in my case two chapters from Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. The small extracts of oat act as an exfoliant, the soft pieces when rubbing into the skin do a great job to remove any dry skin cells. The scent makes me want to eat it, seriously I love porridge and this is just a delicious smell, maybe I shouldn't use this in front of my boyfriend he'll only end up wanting to eat it like he does my lip balms!

Having only used this once, I can't wait to use it again. The results from one applicant is amazing, my skin feels much smoother and has in fact lost some of the redness to it, I feel like going out and purchasing the full size already!

  2. Great! I'm in the middle of the Cupcake mask now, thinking of the next one. Sounds great, though I'll wait for your BB Seaweed mask review.
