Face Mask Friday!

I absolutely love face masks like anyone else (if you don't, how do you relax!?) and today is Friday woo! The beginning of the weekend, in my case a weekend I feel like a deserve off, ha ha am I kidding myself? I've become a part-timer at college and only go in for one lesson on a Monday, how good is that? Back to Face Mask Friday, as I am now going to call my Friday's. We all need a little rest and relaxation time after we've had what feels like an awful week, so I'm dedicating my future Friday's to face masks, each Friday I'm going to try out different masks from the Montagne Jeunesse range - which is a huge favourite of mine as are the Superdrug branded face masks.

My Dad bought me the Peel-Off Masque claiming to be anti stress and "to peel pores deep clean." I've used this plenty of times before and it truly is amazing, my face feels soft and most definitely deeply cleaned; is it anti stress? Yes! But I don't think I'm getting the "anti stress" vibe it's meant to give off as I love peeling it off, seriously I sit and giggle to myself, I think we all know that laughter really is a stress release! I've never really wanted to post pictures of my naked face, but for you guys I think I may just have to, and I can definitely show you the sheer amusement of taking of the mask!

I apologise for the lack of quality of the images, I've taken them on my iPhone and MacBook, also wrote this whilst waiting for my uber-relaxing bath to run!

This is about 99p - £1.29 to purchase from supermarkets, my Dad got mine from ASDA and I think it was £1.29 although I'm not too sure as there are so many different masks at different prices! The gel consistency is a little sticky, but what do you expect when it's a peal off mask? It's meant to have a cucumber smell but I don't recall that, either way it smells pretty nice and is so relaxing. I had a lovely old soak in the bath with my Anna Karenina book, slowly pulling faces knowing my skin was becoming tight due to the mask (that's a positive, don't think negatives with this face mask!) Ready to see the amazing images of me? There pretty bad quality, but for a MacBook camera what more could we ask for?

And to finish off this humorous post of my face mask, I've added a little video showing the mask coming off! If that doesn't make you laugh, I'm not sure what will!

What's your favourite mask, will you try this?

    1. Warming masks are my second favourite, first time I tried one I didn't know that the mask actually got warm. I was franticly running to my Dad shouting "MY FACE IS HOT" then realised it was meant to be, ha!

    1. It's really good for my skin, I'd seriously recommend trying it. It's something I always use before going out, whether it be to meet family members, meals or town, it's truly amazing!
